inteliLIGHT StreetLight Control Software re-certified to TALQ 2.6.2 – keeping cities open and future-ready
Smart cities don’t stand still. Standards evolve, technology advances, and citizens’ expectations keep rising. That’s why we’re proud to announce that the inteliLIGHT StreetLight Control Software has been successfully re-certified by the TALQ Consortium, now meeting the requirements of the latest 2.6.2 specification.

What does the TALQ certification really mean?
The TALQ Consortium is a global authority for smart city protocol standardization, providing a unified interface for managing multiple city services: from smart street lighting to traffic systems, environmental monitoring, and beyond.
TALQ certification guarantees that devices and platforms from different vendors can “speak the same language,” making integration and expansion smoother for cities worldwide.
By achieving re-certification to version 2.6.2, Flashnet demonstrates once again that our CMS meets the highest international standards of:
- Interoperability – guaranteed compatibility with other TALQ-compliant platforms and devices.
- Reliability – trusted performance in real-world urban environments.
- Future-readiness – scalable architecture prepared for evolving technologies and smart city needs.
Our ongoing commitment
Flashnet joined the TALQ Consortium in 2017 with a clear mission: to keep cities open and technology future-proof. Eight years later, with projects deployed on five continents, that mission is stronger than ever.
By keeping inteliLIGHT® CMS aligned with TALQ 2.6.2, we’re not just meeting a standard, we’re reinforcing a promise: to build urban IoT solutions that grow and evolve alongside the communities they serve.
About TALQ Consortium
Founded in 2012, the TALQ Consortium is establishing a globally accepted standard for management software interfaces to control and monitor heterogeneous smart city applications. The TALQ Smart City Protocol is a specification for information exchange, suitable for implementation in various products and systems. This way interoperability between Central Management Software (CMS) and Outdoor Device Networks (ODN) from different vendors will be enabled, such that a single CMS can control different ODNs in different parts of a city or region.
